Backup Solution

Backup Kit Download and unzip the following files to the KITS directory.

Instructions will be provided when the solution is finalised.

  Ensure you are logged in as the administrator before proceeding.

Download and run the backup kit which will install 9 files into the C:\Galileo\Backup directory.

Note: any files that are old will be overwritten automatically. Other files located in this folder will remain. These files include Maxtor functionality and need to remain in the Backup folder.

 The files that are delivered are:

/AtCommand - Mon Fri.BAT
/AtCommand - Mon Sat.BAT
/AtCommand - Mon Sun.BAT
/BackUp.BAT
/CCT_BACK.CMD
/FolderList.BKS
/Lastlog.Txt
/Prompts.VBS
/Log/BackUp01.log

  Open DOS and type AT to see if any non Galileo required items have been scheduled. All existing schedules will be removed. If any additional items appear, rem the removal of all existing schedules from the chosen atcommand.

  Determine the agencies operational days and run the appropriate ATCOMMAND bat file.

  Open DOS and type AT to ensure that the command has been set. Ensure that if other items where present they are still displayed.

  Remove Retrospect from the system via add remove programs.

  Run backup manually by clicking on Backup.Bat. This is to ensure that any MS Spyware etc security settings are set to ALLOW.

  Contact site the following day to ensure the correct 23:30 log displayed.

Update Files Language Resource File dblgen8.dll Version Mis-match:

Going into DBTOOLS and running DBBACKUP displays a command screen with:

Language Resource File  dblgen8.dll  Version Mis-match"

The error message is about a mismatch with one of the Sybase Central DLLs.

Please, extract the attached files to the SERVER directory and overwrite the previous batch.
