IWF Templates are Created from Amadeus Profiles Data
A common question is "What data is used to create Interactive World Files?" During the conversion process, the IWFs are created at the same time the profiles are created, using the Amadeus profiles as the input file. So the integrity of the World Files and Interactive World Files is only as good as your Amadeus profiles.
Car and Hotels Explanation
Amadeus profiles do not have specific line identifier to distinguish Car and Hotel information from regular remarks. Therefore, the Car City and Hotel City IWF templates are not utilized.
Form of Payment and Frequent Flyer Explanation
The form of payments and frequent flyer numbers both have a strict format in Amadeus and in Travelport. The creation of IWF from Amadeus profiles is very accurate. No preparation is required.
You Can Choose Which Template to Create
Currently, only 2 of the 5 IWF templates can be created from profiles. You can choose to have both templates created or specific templates created during the conversion process. If you choose to create specific templates, please contact your Conversion Programmers or your Conversion Project Planner.
