Preparations Required Before Conversions
Items that are required before a conversion can take place.
  • Are you sure IWF is for your agency?
  • Submit a release letter
  • Profiles do not need to be placed on a queue
  • Delete any undesired Profiles

Are you Sure Interactive World Files are for Your Agency?
Interactive World Files are attached to the World Files but are not synchronized; meaning, each must be updated separately. IWF data is supplied from the profile data. Profiles can not be created from IWF data. If your agency is planning on using Trip Manager, then you may want to consider not using IWF. Click here for Trip Manager information. Trip Manager profiles are created from World File data and not IWF data.

Submit Release Letter
A release letter must be submitted so the conversion team can get access to your data. Contact the Conversion Project Planner or Conversion Programmer for the required capture dates. The release letter must be completed and e-mailed to both e-mail addresses listed on the top of the form. Click here to open the release letter (Microsoft Word document format).

Profiles Do Not Need to be Placed on a Queue
No steps are required for the profile data to be captured. You do not need to place profiles on a specific queue. By default, all profiles are captured for conversions. If you only want specific Company profiles and associated Traveler profiles, please state the Company names on the release letter.

Delete any Undesired Profiles
If you know of any profiles you no longer need, then delete the profiles in your current GDS. This will save some capture and conversion time
