1. CX DOES NOT ALLOW BRIDGED OR BRANCHED LOCATIONS TO

    MODIFY E-TICKETS. CX EDITS THE IATA NUMBER OF THE

    ISSUING LOCATION AND ONLY ALLOWS THAT LOCATION TO VOID-

    EXCHANGE OR REFUND THE E-TICKET TRANSACTION. BRIDGED OR

    BRANCH LOCATIONS RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING ERROR RESPONSE

     INVALID REQUESTOR IDENTIFICATION

    MODIFY FUNCTIONS ARE ALLOWED VIA EMULATION.

 

2. CX HAS A LIMITATION ON THE E-TICKET MESSAGE SIZE. IN MOST

   CASES THE FOLLOWING IS SUCCESSFUL BASED ON THE NUMBER OF

   PASSENGERS AND NUMBER OF SEGMENTS SHOWN BELOW-

     IF NUMBER OF PASSENGERS -02 THEN NUMBER OF SEGMENTS -16

     IF NUMBER OF PASSENGERS -03 THEN NUMBER OF SEGMENTS -11

     IF NUMBER OF PASSENGERS -04 THEN NUMBER OF SEGMENTS -07

     IF NUMBER OF PASSENGERS -05 THEN NUMBER OF SEGMENTS -04

     IF NUMBER OF PASSENGERS -06 THEN NUMBER OF SEGMENTS -03

5. PAPER TO ELECTRONIC EXCHANGES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON CATHAY

   PACIFIC. THE FOLLOWING RESPONSE IS RECEIVED IF YOU TRY
