Converted PNRs and Seats
Seats do not automatically convert and synch with the airlines. But the seat information is preserved in the 5.S field of the PNR. To display the seat information, display the PNR and enter *US. The best way to make sure all PNRs have the seats is to work Queue 93 category 2.
Seats and Q-Follow-up Information
The conversion process is able to detect any Queue Follow-up information about seats. Most of the time, the information is in 5.Q in the Amadeus PNR. These PNRs fall on Queue 93 category 1.
Seating assignments
To claim seats previously assigned in Amadeus: display the PNR; enter 4RA, and End record.
Some airlines response take a few minutes, it is best, to wait and retrieve PNR later.
